A Haskell County Sheriff's Office spokesman said the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into the shooting death of a Stigler woman.
Danna Barnes, 35, was shot and killed Friday, her aunt, Brenda Steeber, said.
Steeber said Barnes' parents were notified of the death today, and were told it was the result of a hunting accident.
"Her parents were traveling in Texas, and they don't know what's going on," Steeber said. "None of us know what's going on."
OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said the bureau and the sheriff’s office were partnering on the investigation.
