Baby found dead Tuesday at Walmart

Shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday, Walmart employees found a baby dead in the toilet in the women’s restroom at the store, said Muskogee Police investigator Josh Jenkins.

The infant’s body was turned over to the state medical examiner’s office, Jenkin’s said.

The suspected mother of the child was still being questioned at 10:45 p.m., Jenkins said. She was not under arrest at that time.
