FG library offers ebooks from website

— Q.B. Boydstun Library in Fort Gibson has expanded its services with ebooks available to download from the library’s website, according to a media release. Library card holders can check out and download ebooks anytime and anywhere by visiting the library’s website, www.eodls.lib.ok.us/

ft_gibson.html .

Users may browse the website and check out ebooks with a valid library card. Users will need to install free software. To read ebooks, users will need Adobe Digital Editions. Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including iPod, Sony Reader and many others. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees.

This new service is free for patrons with a library card. Library staff members will demonstrate the service if users have a problem, Lee said.
