This weekend’s eagle watch at the Fort Gibson Dam has been canceled because of the extremely cold weather expected.
The Indian Nations Audubon Society will host watches the following two weekends, Jan. 16 and 17 and Jan. 23 and 24.
Society members will be at the east side of the dam from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day with spotting scopes. The dam is seven miles east of Okay on Oklahoma 251B or five miles north of Fort Gibson on Oklahoma 80.
