Krystal Lynn Lewis will be sentenced Feb. 22, after entering a blind plea to cruelty to animals in the killing and skinning of her puppy.
A blind plea is one in which prosecutors refused to enter into a plea agreement and the defendant relies on the judge to determine a sentence.
Lewis, 24, was charged in June and remained in jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Her bond was lowered last week to $10,000, over the objection of Muskogee County District Attorney Larry Moore’s office.
