A Park Hill man was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison and three years probation for possession of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime.
U.S. Attorney Sheldon Sperling said William Eric Creece, 22, was arrested June 3 during a traffic stop in Tahlequah. Chemicals used in manufacturing methamphetamine and a Bryco 9mm Jennings pistol and ammunition were found in his possession, Sperling said.
Creece was indicted in July and pled guilty in August, Sperling said.
Also sentenced Tuesday was Brandy Lee Glidewell, 46, of Ratliff City, who received 37 months imprisonment and two years of supervised release for distribution of a controlled substance.
Glidewell was arrested by the Sequoyah County Sheriffs Office and pled guilty in April. The crime is alleged to have occurred from January to March.
