Two men were injured when the vehicle they were riding in became airborne, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
A 2003 Chevy Silverado Z71 was traveling westbound on I-40 just south of Vian in Sequoyah County about 5:23 a.m. Sunday, the OHP report stated. The Silverado departed the road and became airborne for 85 feet before coming to rest on State Highway 82.
The driver, Randy Neal Witt, 54, of Oneonta, Ala., was in good condition Monday at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. Witt was admitted with head and internal trunk injuries.
The condition of passenger Altie Eugene Wilkerson, 51, of Oneonta, Ala., was unavailable Monday evening.
Both men were using seatbelts and airbags deployed, according to the report.
