Muskogee High School junior Keondre R. Lawrence is working to attend the National Young Leaders Conference this spring in Washington, D.C.
The Congressional Youth Leadership Council nominates exceptional students from around the country to attend an experimental educational program.
The program helps participants explore career options. Lawrence maintains a 3.33 grade point average and is active in Upward Bound. He volunteers at Muskogee Regional Medical Center.
To to go the academy Lawrence must raise $2,500.
