Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, some businesses and offices will be closed today and Friday. They include county and federal offices, Muskogee County Transit, the Muskogee and Fort Gibson tag agents, Rural Water District #5, and Muskogee City Hall.
The Muskogee Public Library will be closed today and Friday.
Organizations that will be closed only today include the VA Regional Office, the Muskogee Post Office (post office box area will remain open), and area financial institutions.
The Public Works Department said residential sanitary routes will run on schedule except for today, which will run on Friday. Commercial routes will run as scheduled, but not on today. There will be no yard waste pickup for this week.
