If you’re interested in walking and joining others interested in walking for health and pleasure, come to the Honey Springs Battlefield near Rentiesville between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
A group of residents starting a walking club will join the Tulsa Walking Club in 5K and 10K walks on the battlefield’s interpretive trail. The group will meet at the interpretive center, where you will sign in.
You may walk at your own speed or with others. Also, wear a good pair of walking shoes and appropriate attire for weather conditions. Bring water. There is no fee.
