At its regular meeting Monday, the Muskogee County Board of Commissioners approved:
• Holiday schedule for 2010. It includes New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. In addition, county employees will have off July 27, Aug. 24 and Nov. 2 if there is an election held on those days.
• Reappointment of Ronald Cox of Webbers Falls as a member of Board of Trustees of Muskogee County Emergency Medical Services.
• Filing of claims by Holloway, Updike & Bellen for Cane Creek, Cloud Creek 2 and Dirty Creek.
• Tabling bids on equipping sheriff’s vehicles pending his office’s review of the bid received: $5,715.68 per car from Fleet Distributing Express of Tulsa. A bid submitted by Emergency Vehicle Resources of Claremore was rejected because it had not been notarized.
