Donors will save lives and receive their choice of a free University of Oklahoma or Oklahoma State University blood donor T-shirt at both of two Muskogee-area blood drives this week.
Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) encourages all healthy, Muskogee-area residents, age 17 and older to donate at one of the following blood drives:
• Jackson Hewitt Tax Service from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday in the OBI bloodmobile at Jackson Hewitt, 2177 Chandler Road.
For information or to make an appointment, contact Keri Morgan: 686-6800. Free lunch for all donors from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donors can enter to win an OU Sooners gift basket, and all donors at this drive will receive discounted tax preparation!
• First Presbyterian Church from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the church’s Nash Hall, 500 W. Broadway. For information or to make an appointment, contact Jean Kay: 687-5401.
Along with the blood donor T-shirt, donors also receive free health screenings and Members for Life points to redeem at OBI’s online store.
