OKLAHOMA CITY — A contract was recently awarded to repair a road in Muskogee County.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the project involves repairing a joint seal on Interstate 40 and U.S. 64, 18 miles east of U.S. 59.
The State Transportation Commission awarded a $150,000 contract on the repair project to Gibson & Associates Inc. The Texas based company was the lowest of six bidders for the job.
Once construction begins, the project is estimated to be completed within 60 days.
