Using narrative panels and films about World War II prisoners of war held in the United States, a retrofitted school bus called the BUS-eum 3 will tour two area schools.
The stops are part of a tour of 26 states sponsored by TRACES Center for History and Culture.
TRACES is a Midwest/WWII history museum in downtown St. Paul, Minn. Its more than two dozen exhibits about Midwesterners' encounters with Germans or Austrians between 1933 and 1948 form a mosaic, a fuller image of a war often misunderstood or seen in clichés. Learn more: www.TRACES.org.
