Destany Cornejo has been named Hilldale Middle School’s Student of the Month for October. Destany is the daughter of Heather Looney; and Mark and Dorsinda Wiedel of Muskogee. Destany is in the eighth grade and enjoys soccer. She is president of Student Council, a peer mediator, on the Principal’s Honor Roll, and attends Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
The Student of the Month is nominated by the teachers and is designed to recognize students who have achieved high academic standards. The Hilldale Middle School Student Council sponsors the Student of the Month.
