A Porter man was injured when the pickup he was driving struck an SUV on Wednesday morning, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
Bobby Long, 70, was taken by helicopter to St. Francis Hospital with head and arm injuries. His condition was not available Wednesday evening.
Long was driving a 2000 Chevrolet pickup on a county road about four miles west of Wagoner. He failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 1997 Ford Explorer eastbound on Highway 51, the OHP report stated.
The driver of the Explorer, Susan Carter, 27, of Wagoner, refused treatment at the scene. Her two-month-old daughter and 1-year-old son was not injured.
The OHP report stated a possible medical condition of Long’s might have contributed to the collision.
Seatbelts were in use by all.
