BREAKING NEWS: Cherokee County teen under investigation for alleged animal cruelty

— Sheriff's deputies want to talk to a Cherokee County teenager after he allegedly posted online a photo of a dead pit bull terrier he allegedly killed.

Cherokee County Undersheriff Jason Chennault said the picture came to his attention Saturday morning.

When Chennault went to the teenager’s home, he learned from the boy's father that the boy and his mother had left the county after receiving death threats.
