Cherokee Nation tribal tag offices will be closed on Sept. 7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Tribal tag offices will also close on Sept. 9 for a day of staff development and training. Office closings for the two days include Cherokee Nation tag offices located in Adair, Collinsville, Gore and Tahlequah. Tribal tag offices will resume their normal hours of operation on the day following each closure.
Cherokee Nation’s tag offices provide Cherokee Nation citizens living in the 14-county jurisdictional area of the tribe the opportunity to purchase tribal motor vehicle tags. A portion of the revenue from each tag sold is contributed annually to area school districts.
Information: 453-5100.
