Trina Curry, 18, of Muskogee was driving her 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier east on Court Street when witnesses say she ran a red light at Third Street, striking the southbound 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Cheryle Cotten, 59, of Muskogee, said Muskogee Police Corporal Pedro Zardeneta. Curry and Cotton were examined and treated at the scene by Muskogee County Emergency Medical Service, but were not taken to the hospital. Zardeneta said Curry received a ticket for failure to obey a traffic control device.
