Woman held in crash deaths

Porter woman charged with DUI, manslaughter

A Porter woman was arrested on manslaughter charges related to a November crash that took the lives of three people.

Ernestine Robertson, 44, was arrested Wednesday at her home in the 1400 block of East Glohaven Court after being charged with three counts of first-degree manslaughter and two counts of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .08 or above resulting in great bodily injury.

Robertson is being held at the Wagoner County Jail on $505,000 bond.

Robertson was involved in a crash Nov. 27 in Wagoner County at Oklahoma 51B and 181st Street, about 2.5 miles south of Coweta.

Heather Cheatham, 23, of Tulsa, Robbie Robertson, 26, of Coweta, and Marshall Carter, 26, of Coweta — passengers in Ernestine Robertson’s vehicle — were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Porter Deputy Police Chief Tim Guinn said it took this long for Robertson’s toxicology test results to come back to be able to charge her.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol report states Robertson was driving a 2007 Pontiac that went into a broadslide and was struck by a 2010 Chevrolet driven by a Broken Arrow man.

Cheatham and Robbie Robertson were ejected from the vehicle; neither were wearing seat belts. Ernestine Robertson was pinned inside the vehicle for approximately 10 minutes, the report states.

Robertson was also arrested on warrants for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
