A driver and two juvenile passengers were injured Thursday when their 2003 Chrysler Voyager van was rear-ended by a white Chevrolet pickup, police said.
The accident occurred at 1:10 p.m. as Patricia Lively, traveling north, was trying to make a left turn into Sonic Drive-In, 1921 N. York St., said Police Officer Danny Dupont.
The licensed 17-year-old driving the pickup was cited for following too close, DuPont said. She was not injured.
Lively was taken to Muskogee Regional Medical Center by a private vehicle. Her juvenile passengers, ages 16 and 17, were taken to MRMC by ambulance. All were treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Police said they complained of neck pain.
