A Muskogee man was arrested Thursday after a fight in which at least three men were stabbed early that morning outside Frog Wild Saloon.
Tyeson Bebee, 23, was arrested on four complaints of assault and battery with a deadly weapon after a fight broke out about 1:30 a.m. outside the bar, 3111 W. 40th St. N. Three men were sent to Muskogee Regional Medical Center with stab wounds. A fourth man, a bouncer at the bar, was treated for cuts suffered during the altercation.
MRMC spokeswoman Christina Deidesheimer said Richard Brewer, 25, of Warner was in serious condition Thursday afternoon. Muskogee County Sheriff’s Deputy Robbie Jackson said Brewer was stabbed in “the left lower abdomen” and underwent surgery Thursday morning.
Olin Daniels, 25, of Muskogee was listed in good condition after being stabbed in the right leg near the hip joint, Jackson said.
Kevin Yarbrough, 39, of Muskogee was stabbed four times, Jackson said, and was listed by MRMC in good condition.
The bouncer, Bryan Redfearn, was cut and scratched by a knife during the fracas, Jackson said, but his wounds were superficial.
Jackson said Bebee entered the bar, upset “because a female was not with him.”
“There wasn’t a fight inside the club from what I’m gathering,” Jackson said. “He was asked to leave, he pulled a knife inside the club and was asked to leave a little more sternly.”
Outside the bar, Jackson said, Bebee made a move toward one of the bouncers with the knife, starting the fight. Jackson said Yarbrough was attempting to help Redfearn, and Brewer and Daniels were “in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
“Olin was trying to get Kevin out of the way,” Jackson said. “But Kevin was trying to help the bouncer.”
