SHAWNEE — Five Muskogee area residents were named to Oklahoma Baptist University’s academic honor rolls for the spring 2009 semester.
Students who achieved a semester grade point average of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale are named to the President’s Honor Roll. Those who achieved a grade point average between 3.4 and 3.69 are listed on the Dean’s Honor Roll.
President’s Honor Roll
• Boynton — Bethany Rose Slagle, a sophomore nursing major.
• Council Hill — Katelyn Elise Howell, a junior elementary education major.
• Okay — Cody Wayne Yount, a freshman cross-cultural ministry major.
Dean’s Honor Roll
• Fort Gibson — Matthew Ray Richie, a senior electronic media production major; and Tyler Kale Parker, a junior strategic communication major.
