The Muskogee NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet will be held Oct. 6 in the Destiny Center at Faith Deliverance Christian Center, 401 Independence St.
The theme will be “Your Power, Your Decision, Vote.” Tickets are $30 or $200 for a table with eight seats. Dr. Edwin Strickland, Alice Robertson Junior High School principal, will be the speaker.
NAACP will honor 2012 Muskogee Image Award winners: Linda Hytche, Debbie Horsechief, Stella Hughes Derrick, and Lansing Lee. Information: (918) 684-6314.
