Felony murder trial to resume today

— Testimony is set to continue today in the trial of Tommy Lee Dean Jr., charged with first-degree felony murder in the slaying of Ryan Satterfield.

Satterfield, 17, was shot and killed by Deandre Clark on Nov. 23, 2011, in the 1500 block of East Okmulgee Avenue. Prosecutors have said Satterfield and three other boys were in the house when Dean, 21, Clark, 19, and three others — Jordan Miller, 18, Martin Miller, 19,  and Frederick Watson, 19 — allegedly entered the house. A fourth man, Troy Dufur, 18, was allegedly in a getaway vehicle.

Dean is alleged to have told Clark to “pop this one,” seconds before Clark shot and killed Satterfield.

Assistant Muskogee County District Attorney Tim King will continue calling witnesses today. The case is expected to go to the jury Friday.
