Man killed in trailer accident

A Wagoner man died after the gate of a trailer attached to a tractor-trailer rig fell on him behind his home, officials said Tuesday.

Danny Crabtree, 50, was found injured Monday afternoon by a woman driving nearby, said Wagoner Police Chief Bob Haley.

The woman saw Crabtree laying on the ground, went to assist and called 911.

Crabtree was pronounced dead at the hospital.

“It looks like it was just a tragic accident,” Haley said.

Haley said Crabtree had been working on his tractor-trailer when the accident occurred.

Services for Crabtree are pending at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner, according to his death notice.
