Indian Capital Technology Center’s marketing services team recently won six publications awards at the 2012 Oklahoma School Public Relations Association’s awards banquet in Guthrie. This is the second year that ICTC’s Marketing Services team has brought home awards from this event.
The ICTC team won Awards of Excellence in the following categories:
• Brochure/Pamphlet (three to four colors).
• ICTC Career Major Fact Sheets.
• Before and After School Bus Driver Training Information Card.
• Calender/Schedule/Catalog (three to four colors) Spring/Summer.
• Fall ICTC Short-term Course Catalogs.
• Image/Identity/Campaign Package ICTC Gold Star School.
Awards of Merit were also won by ICTC in these categories:
• Annual Report FY 2011 ICTC Annual Report.
• Image/Identity/Campaign Package ICTC Business.
• Industry Services Annual Fall Banquet.
Members of the ICTC marketing team are Anesa Hooper, district marketing coordinator; Janett Ferrell, graphic designer; and Debby Carlile, OSAC/Marketing/IT Services secretary. Roberta Scott, who recently retired as public information officer from ICTC after 24 years of service, has also been an integral part of the ICTC marketing team.
All of the winning publications were designed by Ferrell.
The Oklahoma School Public Relations Association is an award-winning chapter of the National School Public Relations Association. Its mission is to serve, motivate and educate school administrators, school staff members and boards of education about the importance of school public relations.
