Accident victim in critical condition

— A Muskogee man injured Tuesday in a wreck on South 54th Street was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in critical condition, according to a Oklahoma Highway Patrol report released Wednesday.

Quincy Scott, 38, was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer north on South 54th Street about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday with two children as passengers.

The children, Preston Natora, 7, and Kailey Natora, 5, were treated at Muskogee Regional Medical Center and released, the report states.

Scott’s vehicle went off the road to the right, struck a culvert, then veered left, striking a tree. Scott was removed from the vehicle by the Muskogee Fire Department.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. The vehicle’s airbags did deploy. However, seat belts were not in use, according to the OHP report.
