A.M. UPDATE: School to host gala Nov. 2

— St. Joseph School Endowment Trust will have its fourth annual “Continue the Legacy Gala” Nov. 2.

The celebration begins at 6 p.m. with a mass of Thanksgiving, followed by a reception and dinner at the parish hall.

Tickets to the gala are $50 each and are available through St. Joseph School office, (918) 683-1291.

This year’s celebration marks the 20th anniversary of the building of St. Joseph Catholic Church in 1993. Father Alex Kennedy, who served as associate pastor of St. Joseph from 1990-95, will preside at the mass and reflect on how the new church pulled together Muskogee catholics.

Parishioners also will reflect on previous parishes — Church of the Assumption, Sacred Heart and St. Augustine.

St. Joseph School Endowment Trust was established in the 1970s to provide a stable source of additional funding for St. Joseph School.
