Army Pvt. Caden S. Hanrahan has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, Hanrahan studied the Army mission, history, tradition and values, physical fitness, and received instruction in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, combat, map reading, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
Hanrahan, a 2010 graduate of Keys High School, is the son of Tonya Hanrahan of Virginia Beach, Va., and grandson of Patricia Cowan of Tahlequah.
