Police seek suspects in robbery

Man says he was duct taped, robbed at gunpoint

A Muskogee man told police he was duct taped to a chair late Wednesday and robbed by three armed men.

Tracy Guess, 21, told Muskogee Police officers he arrived home to 1616 N. 16th St. about 11:30 p.m. and saw a “suspicious vehicle.”

Guess told police the vehicle was parked behind a vacant house near his residence. When Guess went inside his home, he heard a knock on the door, police Lt. Bobby Lee said.

“When he opened the door, he said three armed black males entered and placed guns on him,” Lee said.

Guess told police the men took several electronic items, a purse and several debit cards.

Emergency call logs state a female in the house, Dakota Riddle, 22, called 911 and said Guess had been “overtaken at gunpoint,” duct taped, blindfolded and robbed. The report states Guess had removed the duct tape himself, while Riddle, who was in a back room, was sleeping.

No one was injured during the robbery, Lee said, and there were no shots fired.

Lee said Guess described the men as three black males, and said they were driving a “red or maroon” sport utility vehicle.

“Investigator (Mark) Ridley is following up some leads on this right now,” Lee said.

Lee said anyone with information regarding the armed robbery can call (918) 683-8000 and ask for investigations, or call Muskogee Crime Stoppers at (918) 682-2677.
