During its regular meeting Monday, the Muskogee County Board of Commissioners approved:
• Claims, monthly reports and purchase orders.
• Recognition of a certificate of appreciation to Muskogee County Sheriff Charles Pearson from Muskogee County Emergency Medical Services.
• Lease-purchase agreement to fund the acquisition of a 2013 International firetruck by Haskell Fire Department.
• Resolution declaring copy machine, fax machine, typewriters, computer and scanner surplus to the needs of the Muskogee County Clerk and authorizing disposition of the same.
• Request to rescind a bid to sell a skid unit for Braggs Fire Department for failure to perform and soliciting new bids for the item.
• Further discussion regarding the proposed relocation of the Muskogee County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
• Accepted a bid from Ferarra Fire Supply to sell wildland firefighting gear — jackets, pants and bags — to the Boynton Fire Department.
