Ramie Sue Toddy of Webbers Falls High School is a recipient of the Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative Herman Driscoll Memorial Scholarship. She is the daughter to Sue and C.W. Chapman.
Toddy will be attending Rose State College in the fall of 2009. Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative supports the educational goals of youth in its coverage area by offering scholarships funded by employees, to college bound graduates planning to attend a state accredited school or technical school offering an associate or bachelor's degree.
Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative awarded Toddy with a $500 scholarship. The students applying for the scholarship submitted applications and two letters of recommendation in the annual contest. The scholarship program is open to any graduating senior whose parents or guardians are members of Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative.
The scholarship program was established in 1998 in memory of long-time employee and general manager of Cookson Hills, Herman Driscoll.
