A Coweta teen was listed in critical condition with head injuries after being injured in a car wreck Saturday morning on Toppers Road east of Wagoner.
The accident occurred at 9 a.m. about 1.6 miles east of Wagoner on Toppers Road, according to a report by Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Steve Hash.
The report said a 1997 Mercury Villager driven by Robyn Rankin, 32, of Coweta, was going east on a county road, failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the right side of the road. The Mercury struck a gate post and overturned on its top.
Autumn Danielle Rankin, 13, was ejected through a window and struck by the vehicle. She was transported to Saint Francis Hospital and listed in critical condition.
Robyn Rankin was treated at Wagoner Community Hospital and released.
Another passenger, Alyissa Rankin, 12, was treated for neck injuries at Wagoner Community Hospital and released.
Three other passengers were not injured.
Alyissa and Autumn were not wearing seat belts, though other passengers were wearing seatbelts, the report said.
The airbag did not deploy.
