OKLAHOMA CITY — A Muskogee certified public accountant received the Distinguished CPA Award from the Eastern Chapter of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs at the organization’s Annual Members Meeting recently.
Judy Hoffman, CPA, an active member of the OSCPA since 1989, is the former president and current secretary of the OSCPA Eastern Chapter.
Hoffman is a graduate of Leadership Muskogee and serves on the board of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Muskogee Civic Center Board and the Muskogee Development Board, as well as other community organizations. She volunteers with the United Way, serving on the Allocations Committee and the Personnel Committee, and often provides free consultations and highly discounted CPA services for those in need.
The OSCPA Eastern Chapter, selected its Distinguished CPA based on criteria measuring community involvement, professionalism and activism in the CPA profession.
