Regina Hercules, 43, of Ada, was sentenced Friday in federal court in Muskogee to 48 months imprisonment, followed by 36 months of supervised release for her part in a plot to kill her nephew's wife.
Hercules, Tonia Mullins, also of Ada, and Michael Andrew Crawford, Hercules' nephew, negotiated a price of $5,000 with an undercover Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent to kill Crawford's wife.
Mullins was sentenced Friday to 72 months in prison. Crawford is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
