MLT offers price specials for ‘Twelve Angry Men’

Muskogee Little Theatre announced some specials for the final weekend of their production of “Twelve Angry Men.”

“First weekend audiences loved this show,” said Coni Wetz, executive director for the theatre. “MLT is so confident in this production and so sure that it absolutely won’t disappoint, that we are offering some price discounts in order to pump up attendance for the final three performances.”

The special offers include: Thursday is Angry Men Night — All men (angry or not) will be half-price admission; Friday is Date Night — Buy one ticket and get your date’s ticket free; Saturday is Graduation Special — All students and teachers are half price, and any 2009 graduate is free. All specials apply to sales at the theatre box office one hour prior to curtain. You may reserve tickets in advance at Soundworld, 683-4901, then pick up and use your discount when you pay at the theatre box office.

“Twelve Angry Men,” the classic courtroom drama, produced as a 1957 movie starring Henry Fonda, tells the story of a biased jury that hastily concludes that the 19-year-old boy on trial for murder is guilty. Yet Juror No. 8 insists there is reasonable doubt, and leads the annoyed and impatient jurors to reconsider. The show is sponsored by The Muskogee Bar Association and The Oklahoma Arts Council.
