At its regular meeting Tuesday, the City Council’s Public Works and Finance Committees approved:
• Mutual police assistance agreements between the Muskogee Police Department and the Muskogee County Sheriff's Department and the City of Porum.
• To be a co-applicant with Muskogee County for EDA grant for road improvements to North Main Street, north of Shawnee Bypass to city limits.
• Fees and charges for activities at the Spaulding Pool, River Country Water Park, and the Swim and Fitness Center.
• Amendment to contract with Holloway, Updike and Bellen Inc., for design of Phase I of Coody Creek Outfall. Action increases contract $42,000.
• Payment of $300 claim filed against the City of Muskogee for repairs to a pillar at the Federal Courthouse.
• Ratifying the action of the City Manager in executing an application for a United States Department of Justice Grant in the amount of $216,380.
