At a regular meeting of the Muskogee City Council, Mayor John Tyler Hammons and members of the Council recognized students of character from all of the schools in Muskogee. Two students were selected from each school based on their excellent overall character. The students represented all of the students of good character who attend Muskogee Public Schools and Hilldale Public Schools. During the ceremony there was standing room only in the Council Chambers as parents, grandparents, and teachers were in attendance.
