If you’ve ever wondered if the tea set Aunt Helen left you is worth anything, or those old coins you found last week have any value, CASA’s first-ever Antique Appraisal Faire is for you.
From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Tahlequah Community Building, a team of area experts will be on hand to evaluate your antiquities. General admission is $5; each item to be appraised is $10.
CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, volunteers represent and advocate for abused and neglected children in Adair County and Cherokee County District Courts and Cherokee Nation Tribal Court.
The Antique Appraisal Faire is a new fundraiser for CASA. Commercial co-sponsors of the event are Taylor’s Concrete Construction, underwriter, and Wright Real Estate Century 21, Love’s Briar Patch and Timbers Veterinary Clinic.
