Approximately 250 volunteers are putting on their gloves to team up in the fight against litter in Braggs this spring.
Greater Tenkiller Area Association is organizing the cleanup, and Diane Rutland, project coordinator, is excited to see so many members of the community committed to achieving a cleaner, greener Braggs.
Their effort is part of the Keep Oklahoma Beautiful statewide Great American Clean Up in Oklahoma, in conjunction with the Keep America Beautiful national event that runs through May 31.
Keep Oklahoma Beautiful is a statewide nonprofit organization and a state affiliate of Keep America Beautiful with a mission to encourage, promote and assist efforts in the areas of beautification, improvement and preservation of Oklahoma’s natural environments.
