A 22-year-old Stilwell man died in a one-vehicle accident on an Adair County road about 10:22 p.m. Wednesday.
Vincent Mathew Olmstead was northbound on a two-lane asphalt road, ran off the road to the east, overcorrected and traveled across the road to the west, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. His 1998 Ford Windstar van rolled one complete time, ejecting Olmstead approximately 25 feet from the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, the report said.
His vehicle was equipped with a seatbelt that was not in use.
