No races shaped up after the first day of filing for area school board races Monday.
Every school district in the state has at least one seat up for election, with filing to end at 5 p.m. Wednesday at county Election Boards.
Where races develop, voters will go to the polls Feb. 10. If a run-off election is needed, it will be held April 7, said Ellen Thames, assistant secretary at Muskogee County Election Board.
