Three people were arrested Tuesday after an alert neighbor called in a burglary in progress, according to Sheriff Charles Pearson.
Lisa Bryant, 35, of Bokoshe; Gina Boyd, 26, of Quinton; and Kurt Christian, 32, of Dyer, Ark., were booked into the Muskogee County/City Detention Facility, Deputy David Chandler.
About 10:15 a.m., Chandler was called out to a vacant residence near Webbers Falls and saw three people going inside. When additional officers arrived, the alleged burglars were ordered to come out of the house. As they fled, a deputy’s dog apprehended Bryant. Muskogee County Emergency Medical Service was called to treat her for a dog bite to her arm. Deputies, with the help of area police, a wildlife officer and troopers, arrested the other two suspects.
The group was in a Dodge pickup and had removed fixtures out of the bathrooms, sinks, and window screens.
