Charges won’t be filed against an assistant principal who was accused of a sex crime, a prosecutor said Friday.
Frankie Falwell, an assistant principal at the 7th and 8th Grade Center, had been accused in October of forcing a 13-year-old girl to perform oral sex.
Muskogee County Assistant District Attorney Nikki Baker Dotson said the office had declined to prosecute Falwell.
After a review of the information and based on the report and evidence, there was not enough to go forward on a charge against Falwell, she said.
Muskogee Public Schools spokeswoman Melony Carey said Falwell is off administrative leave and is going to return to his school position.
“We’re very happy to have him back — he is a great asset,” Carey said.
When the investigation began, Falwell, the assistant principal for the seventh grade, said he was innocent.
Falwell could not be reached for comment.
