Nearly two dozen children in state foster care are represented by stars on a Christmas tree at Fort Gibson State Bank.
Each star has the wish list of what a child who will be with a foster family for the holidays would like to receive.
Those adopting a star are to return their gifts, with the star attached to the bank by Dec. 10, said Pat Green, bank spokeswoman.
A snowflake that is attached to the star is to be kept by the adopting family as an ornament for their tree and a reminder of their caring about a foster child, Green said.
