The Muskogee Community Landfill, in conjunction with the city of Muskogee, will have a free dump day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Muskogee Community Landfill, 2801 S. 54th St. W. between Hancock Street and Peak Boulevard.
There will be no charge to residents of the city who identify themselves with a valid driver’s license and a current city of Muskogee water bill. If you do not present these items, you will be charged at the regular rate. No commercial business allowed. Heavy turnout is expected, so enter from the north off Hancock onto 54th Street. Be prepared for a short wait.
The landfill will not accept any items containing freon, such as refrigerators, freezers, etc. unless they are purged of freon. There is a charge for tires.
The limb and brush drop-off site located at 40th and Denver streets will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. No stumps accepted.
