The Muskogee Police Department’s enhanced speed limit enforcement program instituted to get drivers to slow down resulted in 319 traffic citations in October.
Each month, the department announces areas to be targeted by traffic enforcement officers with radar enforcement. Those areas in November include:
• Through Friday: Okmulgee Avenue between Main Street and Virgil Matthews Drive.
• Nov. 10-15: Chandler Road between R Street and Muskogee Turnpike.
• Nov. 17-21: Hancock Street between Gulick Street and South 48th Street East.
• Nov. 24-28: Okmulgee Avenue between Main Street and R Street.
