A Sallisaw man remained hospitalized after a collision on a motorcycle in Atoka County.
Brandon D. Slaughter, 26, was listed in fair condition Monday afternoon at St. John Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Slaughter was riding a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on U.S. 69 about 7:40 p.m. Saturday when he hit a deer in the road. The accident happened about five miles north of Stringtown. Slaughter was wearing a helmet, the report states.
