TAHLEQUAH — For visual artists, their portfolio can be their best representative. The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition announces an upcoming workshop for artists, providing information about putting together an effective portfolio.
A part of the Artist Survival Kit (ASK) workshop series, “Moving Forward: Portfolios & Goals” will be 1-4 p.m. Oct. 25 at the NSU Jazz Lab, 315 N. Muskogee.
The workshop will feature several speakers who will draw on their experiences to help artists with portfolios.
The workshop is $20 for general public or $15 for OVAC members, with a discount of $5 for those registered and paid in full by Oct. 22. Scholarships are available. Registration is available by email at office@ovac-ok.org, by phone at (405) 232-6991, or online at www.ArtistSurvivalKit.org.
